Job Responsibility

Review and interpret project specifications, floor plans, and electrical schematics
Develop hardware and software design submittals for HVAC DDC (Direct Digital Control) and Fire Alarm systems
Design layouts for VESDA pipe networks and calculate sampling hole sensitivity using modeling software
Select appropriate field devices (sensors, actuators, smoke detectors, controllers) based on project requirements
Coordinate with electrical subcontractors to ensure wiring and conduit installations meet design standards
Manage the 'Point-to-Point' checkout process to verify that every physical device communicates correctly with the front-end workstation
Oversee the integration of third-party protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
Ensure all Fire Alarm and VESDA designs comply with NFPA 72, NFPA 70 (NEC), and local building codes
Prepare and maintain 'As-Built' documentation and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals
