In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of enabling CAD efficiencies and automation, as well as your passion for standards that drive consistent and effective design practices. In coordination with internal customers’ needs, you will coordinate cross-functional teams of impacted stakeholders and perform non-technical project management to completion, both on time and within budget.
Job Responsibility
Develop and document new standards and best methods for product development and essential business workflows
Support Lam’s overall digital transformation initiative as it pertains to engineering processes
Lead, as project manager, software development within CAD with a focus on improvements in engineering efficiency and quality
Work cross-functionally to align with stakeholders on requirements and functionality
Develop and maintain training for the engineering community on a variety of topics to foster effective knowledge sharing
Present project plans to senior management, gain buy in and deliver results
Requirements
Expected minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
or 6 years and a Master’s degree
or equivalent experience
Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
Process knowledge in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Experience with engineering product development processes and best practices
Proficiency in 3D modeling
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking
Strong leadership skills, influencing, negotiating and conflict resolution, with applicable experience

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
Knowledge of product configuration and manufacturing
Strong technical writing skills
Design experience, including strong working knowledge of GD&T, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
Specific tool experience with NX and Teamcenter
Demonstrable capability with NX Journaling, Power Apps, PowerBI or other programming languages
