The Project Engineer will be responsible for assessing and scoping enabling, and remediation works, will provide technical review, carry out technical reporting and undertake on-site technical assessment including quality assurance and safety management. They will work in conjunction with the Project Manager and other Remediation Division team members to support project delivery on-site. You will be degree educated, affiliated to appropriate industry bodies and will have fulfilled a similar role previously on brownfield sites and have knowledge of the planning and execution of geoenvironmental engineering, remediation and enabling works.

Requirements:
At least 3-5 years’ experience working in geoenvironmental/ remediation
WAMITAB qualification
Have a solid understanding of waste legislation
Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with internal and external contacts
Good written skills for technical report writing
Knowledge of industry technical developments and guidelines
Knowledge of environmental and health & safety legislation, in particular, CDM 2015
Able to work in a small but often nationally dispersed team
Flexible approach to work and location
Able to use initiative and self-manage time and tasks
Able to motivate and drive delivery of remediation works utilising own staff and contractors
Good knowledge of brownfield land assessment and remediation
Ability to assist with budget estimation for remediation works
A clear understanding of the requirements of ground engineering and construction legal guidelines
Excellent communication and negotiating skills
