Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly motivated, detail-focused, and results-driven Project Engineer to become an integral part of our dynamic and dedicated Maritime Assurance Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who is passionate about contributing to the safety, compliance, and overall performance of complex maritime projects, systems, and operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Differentiate and comply with relevant legislation, regulation, policy, processes, and standards to deliver technical documentation for a sub-system
  • Manage the generation of technical requirements, defining technical deliverables/artifacts and updating other documentation for sub-systems
  • Acts upon identified risk and applies the principles of risk escalation and risk transfer
  • Collaborate and accommodate trade-offs with other sub-system teams and specialists over technical requirements and design compromises
  • Support technical assurance activities within the limit of your technical discipline

Requirements

  • Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics based qualification at RQF Level 6 (e.g., Bachelors Degree)
  • OR Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics based qualification at RQF Level 4 (e.g., HND, NVQ) plus current professional registration (EngTech, RSciTech, REnvTech, CChem)
  • OR Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics based qualification at RQF Level 3 (e.g., HNC, BTEC, NVQ) plus a minimum of 3 further years of relevant professional experience
  • OR Current professional registration (EngTech, RSciTech, REnvTech, CChem) plus a minimum of 3 further years of relevant professional experience
  • Making Effective Decisions (CSBC3)
  • Delivering at Pace (CSBC3)
  • ECF_02 Safety Management – Awareness
