Project Director

• Provide overall leadership to the project organization, ensuring alignment with company goals, client expectations, and contractual obligations
• Champion a world-class safety culture across all aspects of the project
• Direct the implementation of project-specific quality programs covering design, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning
• Approve and oversee detailed project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations
• Provide overall responsibility for the project’s financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, change management, and contract compliance
• Oversee negotiation, execution, and administration of major contracts and subcontracts
• Serve as the primary point of contact with the client, corporate leadership, and external partners
• Lead formal change management processes, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule impacts are fully assessed and approved
• Build and mentor a high-performing project team encompassing engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning disciplines
• Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent reporting of project performance, forecasting, and key metrics to corporate management and clients
• Maintain a strong on-site presence and demonstrate commitment to execution excellence, quality, and team leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in managing large-scale industrial or EPC projects exceeding $500 MM in total installed cost
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in the Steel, Aluminum, Mining, or Heavy Industrial Sectors
• In-depth understanding of EPC project execution models, including contracting strategies, risk management, and project controls
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively at executive and client levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Procore, and enterprise project management or financial reporting systems
• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship

A master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred
