We’re looking for a senior, highly versatile Project Director to support delivery across our market teams. The Project Director will act as the connective tissue between multiple departments, providing senior-level orchestration, integrated plans, and consistent communication across all workstreams. They must be confident navigating creative and media environments and be able to translate between disciplines to ensure seamless delivery. This is a client-facing role, working in partnership with the Client Services team to give clients a unified, joined-up agency experience.
Job Responsibility:
Manage delivery hands-on on one or more key projects for our market teams, ensuring we operate as one integrated team for the client and employ best practice project management
Support/consult with other teams in our markets to shape delivery plans and ensure that comprehensive statements of work, plans and setup are in place
As we grow the Hungary team oversee other Project managers
Contribute (in partnership with other project managers in our market teams) to developing best practices across Project Management
Lead project management across assigned accounts, ensuring smooth delivery, clear priorities, and alignment between client goals and internal workflows
Provide strategic input into account ways of working, resource prioritisation, and overrun management
Bring strong understanding of creative and media delivery and be able to optimise how the team works across workstreams
Build strong relationships with Client Services, Creative, Design, Media and Production to ensure smooth handovers and collaboration
Proactive in bringing the right people together to unblock work, align decisions, and keep delivery moving - rather than waiting for escalation
Partner tightly with Business Directors to spot and resolve project blockers, ensuring delivery success and client satisfaction
Create and manage project plans, scopes of work, timelines, and internal and client facing tracker and documentation
Monitor account-level pacing, resources, and risks, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved quickly
As required mentor and guide Project Managers, contributing to the growth of the PM function
Champion best practice in project management, ensuring tools, documentation, and workflows are consistent and efficient
Continuously identify operational and WoW friction points and lead changes to improve efficiency, clarity and team workflow
Requirements:
Relevant experience leading project delivery on large client projects/programme and leading or guiding other account or project managers
Extensive experience in a project management role within an agency environment, ideally in creative, media, or production-led accounts
Proven experience and a strong understanding of agency workflows (planning, briefing, approval etc) and delivering projects for large multinational clients
Experience shaping and improving ways of working across teams, with the confidence to recommend and implement operational changes. Ability to balance strategic oversight with a hands-on approach
Proven track record of managing complex multi-discipline projects from planning to delivery
Strong financial acumen and experience managing scopes, budgets, and forecasts
A naturally proactive communicator who anticipates needs, surfaces risks early and drives clarity across teams. Ability and experience in stakeholder management
Proficient with project management and workflow tools (including Google Suite), with the ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and confidently use new systems as they evolve
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Excellent communication (fluent English) and stakeholder management skills
able to influence clients and internal leaders
Confidence operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and turning complexity into clear direction
Highly organised, calm under pressure, and experienced in managing senior cross-functional teams
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset - able to spot risks early and navigate teams through challenges
