Job Responsibility

  • Take responsibility for the Project Management consulting services function for Hospitality projects within PDS Thailand
  • Act as point of introduction and escalation with key clients in the initiation phase of client engagement and the subsequent project management service delivery
  • Provide project management and oversight to the JLL project teams in PDS providing guidance and direction on service delivery and client management
  • Support the TH PDS GM to drive growth of PDS Project Management services in the market and contribute thought leadership in the development of the growth and sales strategy across multiple sectors to achieve this
  • Be an effective role model for PDS team members, demonstrate all the desired Leadership behaviours and goals, including Operations and Business Development targets
  • Build, shape and communicate the firm’s values and culture

  • Drive the sales function for securing new clients and new projects. Create and follow an aggressive business plan for growth of hospitality projects for PDS
  • Be the main point of contact for business development activities including client engagement and selling of PDS services to investors, operators and owners
  • Build relationships with new clients while nurturing existing client relationships to support the business growth strategy
  • Assist sales teams by sharing opportunities and connections and identify potential pursuits
  • Create and go to face to face meetings with potential clients who may have expressed interest in PDS products and provide understanding and solutioning to secure potential opportunities
  • Engage with existing clients to discuss future opportunities within TH and share this intelligence
  • Attend key industry events where clients, competitors and other consultants will be sharing market information and opportunities
  • Communicate with other BU / teams to support the success of the business as per One JLL policy by providing details of PDS products
  • Work closely with the JLL Hotel Advisory and Capital Market teams to understand market movements and potential client and project opportunities for PDS
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with other JLL business lines by collaborating, co ordinating, supporting each department on developing new business opportunities
  • Supporting the sales team by regular updating / sharing project opportunities. Collaborate on capability statements and presentation deck creation
  • Support the TH growth strategy while working in partnership with the various business groups and sales leaders as required
  • Connect with regional PDS Design Build teams to gather lessons learnt and supporting details from other opportunities
  • Contribute to the annual business planning cycle to help set targets and strategy for the following year
  • Assist the GM in managing the project management elements of the P&L and contribute necessary advice and recommendations in relation to costs and resource planning
  • Provide line management to senior project managers guiding and mentoring them as necessary
  • Assist the GM in developing recruitment plans in line with growth forecasts
  • Draft proposals in conjunction with the Sales team and provide fees and resourcing required. Prepare a detailed RFS for GM or regional leadership approval prior to submission
  • Oversee and manage the recruitment and efficient allocation of project management resources required to ensure profitable project delivery
  • Make recommendations on the resource hiring plan and facilitate talent acquisition as required
  • Oversee effective management of fee revenue and invoicing in conjunction with the Operations Manager. Maximising fees via variations as necessary and avoiding bad debts
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate resource allocations and data quality in PDS technology platforms
  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations for the purpose of pitching with the GM, BD Manager and project teams to win work

Requirements

  • Likely a veteran of the hospitality industry with extensive experience and connections across the Thailand hospitality landscape
  • A degree in a relevant Design, Project or Construction Management related discipline and fifteen (15+) years’ experience in Design, Construction, or Project Management
  • Strong sales and business growth experience with demonstrable track record of securing new clients and projects and building teams to deliver consultancy services
  • Experience working with international companies and their business/department leaders
  • Fluent in written and spoken Thai and English
