Job Description

Our client designs hygiene contained rooms, based in Thetford. They're looking to bring in a new member of their team to join their team of Design Engineers and assist with day to day operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Create detailed Revit/BIM models for modular and steel-framed building designs
  • Design integrated MEP systems, including HVAC, ductwork, piping, and electrical layouts
  • Develop coordinated design solutions across mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural elements
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings, layouts, and supporting documentation
  • Manage multiple design projects, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency throughout
  • Refine and validate designs through site surveys, 3D scanning, and collaboration with contractors

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience using Revit within a BIM environment
  • Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
  • Able to read and produce detailed HVAC and MEP schematics
  • Experience designing and coordinating building services layouts
  • Strong technical drawing and 3D modelling skills
  • Detail-focused with a high standard of design accuracy
