We're seeking a detail‑driven and innovative Project Design Engineer to join a growing Engineering team. You'll take ownership of creating accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and developing order‑specific 3D models and drawings that meet exact customer and industry standards. Job Responsibility:
Produce accurate Works Order using the MRP system, meeting project timelines and sign‑off targets
Generate order‑specific CAD models, detailed engineering, and general arrangement drawings
Act as the first technical contact for customer design enquiries and communicate effectively across internal teams
Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international standards
Provide technical input in design reviews and multidisciplinary project meetings
Investigate and resolve design or production issues, working collaboratively with suppliers and subcontractors
Identify training or process improvement needs and help implement them
Requirements:
Experience in a design or engineering role within a manufacturing or technical environment
Engineering qualification such as HNC, HND, or BEng in a relevant discipline
Strong knowledge of materials, mechanical properties, and manufacturing processes
Proficient in CAD, 3D modelling, and analysis tools
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration
