Are you an experienced Project Delivery Manager with proven knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) requirements, experience managing multiple complex projects, and a passion for delivering exceptional results while building lasting client relationships? At Vidalert, part of Marston Holdings, we're looking for a proactive and commercially focused Project Delivery Manager to join our growing Traffic Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of multiple technology led projects that support smarter transport networks, safer roads, and improved public services across the UK.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage multiple projects across the Traffic Technology portfolio
  • Regularly visiting clients to conduct project meetings
  • Attend site installations to ensure smooth and compliant delivery
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and delivery schedules
  • Manage project scope, risks, assumptions, dependencies, and change control processes
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical specialists, operations teams, suppliers, and external partners
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular reporting to stakeholders, PMO, and senior management
  • Manage project budgets, costs, margins, and commercial performance
  • Ensure contract obligations, milestones, service levels, and acceptance criteria are achieved
  • Manage supplier relationships, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery performance
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and CDM requirements where applicable

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Project Delivery Manager or Project Manager role
  • Experience delivering technology, software, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of project governance and delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and PRINCE2
  • Proven experience with CDM framework/requirements
  • Experience within transportation, parking, enforcement, or traffic technology sectors
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices
  • Understanding of Traffic Management and Road Traffic legislation
  • Experience working with Local Authorities or Government organisations
  • Familiarity with NRSWA, street works permitting, and highway authority permit schemes
  • Experience delivering large-scale software deployment projects
  • Results driven and solutions-focused
