Job Responsibility

Take ownership of the project and drive it proactively
Implement projects according to agreed governance
Manage stakeholders and cooperate with Enterprise Architects, Service Owners, Product Managers, IT Operations Tower Leads and Team Leads, IT Operations Experts (SME) and Service Delivery Managers during the project
Engage actively with your Steering Committee especially the project Sponsor
Create an environment where creativity and innovation from the Project Team will flourish
Utilize your Project Management toolbox and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions as well as Change control with respect for budgets, governance, and deadlines
Think ahead - plan and manage resources (time, people, assets, 3rd party involvement) to meet project completion deadlines
Facilitate workshops and planning activities and participate in solution implementation activities as a management force
Ensure that necessary documentation is gathered, stored, and passed according to agreed knowledge management policy (KB, emails, internet etc.) for the individual projects

Proven success managing infrastructure or transportation projects
Understanding of alternative delivery models including Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CM/GC, and/or P3

Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation capabilities
PE License in Tennessee required, or the ability to obtain within the first 3 months of employment
