Job Description

As a Project Delivery Manager (PDM), you are responsible for the end‑to‑end operational execution of research projects across trackers and ad‑hoc qualitative and quantitative studies, both online and onsite. You translate the SOW into a complete operational delivery plan, coordinate all day‑to‑day tasks, manage timelines and dependencies, oversee vendors and fieldwork, maintain business documentation, and ensure projects follow operational standards. The PDM is the owner of “how-to” delivery, ensuring quality, feasibility, compliance, and smooth operational execution while partnering closely with Ops and client teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the end‑to‑end operational delivery of trackers and ad‑hoc QL/QN projects (online & onsite)
  • Translate the SOW into a detailed operational plan, including tasks, workflows, dependencies, and timelines
  • Manage the operational project timeline, ensuring daily coordination, follow‑ups, and alignment across all task owners
  • Oversee and support project buying, supplier coordination, recruitment, incentives, and fieldwork execution (including facility or onsite logistics for QL)
  • Coordinate internal resources (Client teams, Quantitative experts, Designers, etc.) to ensure they are properly briefed and aligned—with Ops defining resource allocation
  • Maintain rigorous quality checks on survey links, fieldwork progress, transcripts, deliverables, dashboards, and operational outputs
  • Liaise directly with end clients on operational matters / project delivery milestones such as timelines / screeners etc.
  • Collaborate closely with Quant experts for complex project components (sampling, modeling, scripting, analytics)
  • Adapt operational plans dynamically for complex target groups, special methodologies, or unexpected field challenges
  • Support the implementation of new tools, platforms, processes, and operational enhancements
  • Maintain and update all business and operational documents, including Statements of Orders (SO), Quotes, Project shells, G&SR & receipts, Pricing tables & timing plans, Project trackers & status updates
  • Ensure all projects follow defined operational standards, templates, and delivery guidelines
  • Monitor outsourcing costs to ensure they remain within operational scope
  • Identify operational risks, blockers, scope gaps or feasibility concerns early
  • Escalate promptly to Ops Manager + Client teams to protect project quality, timeline, and scope
  • Drive mitigation actions and ensure stakeholders remain aligned throughout delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (e.g. Marketing, Languages, Mathematics, Social Sciences, or a related field)
  • 2–4 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or research operations
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to understand research goals and business impact before execution
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
  • Good judgment to anticipate potential risks or issues, and the confidence to raise them early and suggest practical mitigation ideas
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with both planning and hands-on execution
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in fast-paced or on-site research environments
  • Mandarin and English fluency is mandatory
