Job Description

A highly regarded independent construction and property consultancy is seeking an Executive Cost Consultant to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and career-driven Executive Cost Consultant to work on a variety of high-profile projects across the residential, commercial, education and cultural sectors. The successful Executive Cost Consultant will support both pre- and post-contract duties, working alongside experienced professionals on complex schemes across the UK. The role offers clear progression pathways, full support towards MRICS, and the chance to develop within a collaborative and structured environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting cost planning, tender documentation and procurement
  • Assisting with valuations, change control and final accounts
  • Preparing financial reports and advising on budget control
  • Collaborating with internal and external project teams
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting senior team members

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline
  • Some experience in a UK consultancy environment (placement or post-grad)
  • Working towards MRICS or aiming to begin
  • Strong numeracy, organisation and communication skills
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
