Job Description:

The Project Coordinator supports the daily operations of the retail location by overseeing and coordinating all aspects of home sales and site preparation. This role is integral in ensuring a smooth transition from old to new home installations while maintaining a high standard of lot appearance and customer service

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct lot measurements and coordinate plot plan approval with contractors and park management
  • Request necessary permits from HCD for approved home installations
  • Evaluate and coordinate the removal or sale of homes being replaced
  • provide accurate descriptions and photos for listings
  • Ensure timely removal of old homes and completion of lot clean-up prior to new home delivery
  • Oversee demolition processes, ensuring all required documentation (e.g., insignia tags) is collected and filed properly
  • Arrange for debris and tree removal as necessary, obtaining prior approval from park management
  • Maintain pristine lot conditions at all times with no exceptions
  • Schedule grading and road base work, ensuring alignment with home specifications
  • Install and maintain signage and marketing materials on lots, including flyers for upcoming or available homes
  • Coordinate utility relocations and confirm completion timelines
  • Inspect homes upon delivery, document damage with photos and written reports, and notify the manufacturer’s service department
  • Perform quality control checks on contractors’ work, including weekly inspections and progress reports with names of on-site workers
  • Conduct regular cleanliness inspections of model homes and schedule power washing as needed
  • Confirm homes are inspected and have a valid Certificate of Occupancy prior to escrow closing
  • Prepare homes for final walk-throughs, coordinating detailing crews when necessary
  • Work closely with the service department to ensure timely repairs and customer satisfaction
  • Act as liaison between external contractors and internal teams for projects on private property
  • Preview homes prior to open houses to ensure readiness
  • Conduct client walk-throughs if a sales agent is unavailable
  • Capture and maintain photo documentation of each project at all phases: before, during, and after
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, permits, inspections, and contractor coordination
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and 3–5 years of directly related experience, particularly in construction
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of personalities
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and handling challenging interactions with professionalism
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining respectful communication
