The Project Coordinator is the catalyst that brings different teams together to solve challenges and cultivate results. This position focuses team members on the project goals and drives integration of design among all teams. They lead and align teams across all disciplines, ensuring a cohesive design and project execution from concept through implementation, installation, and project close-out. The Project Coordinator maintains clear, consistent communication with all teams, providing regular updates on project status, action items, challenges, and solutions. This position identifies potential risks or conflicts in the production process and collaborates with stakeholders to develop solutions that uphold our Creative Excellence. They oversee the creation and management of scopes, tracks owner & contractor furnished items, and guides production and installation efforts. You will report to the Manager of Project Coordination
Job Responsibility:
Lead and align teams across all disciplines, ensuring a cohesive design and project execution from concept through implementation, installation, and project close-out
Maintain clear, consistent communication with all teams, providing regular updates on project status, action items, challenges, and solutions
Identify potential risks or conflicts in the production process and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions
Oversee the creation and management of scopes, tracks owner & contractor furnished items, and guides production and installation efforts
Responsible for all aspects of a scope of work on a self-contained and defined project of appropriate size and complexity
Coordinate and integrate project information with internal and external organizations including project team, creative and design studios, operations, municipalities, vendors, and contractors
Own responsibility for the development and documentation of scope lists, executing project strategies, mock-ups, and deliverables matrices
Requirements:
Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word)
Construction or themed entertainment experience
Demonstrated Leadership experience
Ability to be a highly organized self-starter with previous leadership experience
Ability to coordinate project development process and documentation including shop drawings, document control, and punch lists
Ability to work through conflict and guide team members with problem-solving
Ability to understand stakeholder needs and manage relationships
Ability to give and take direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, and work in a team environment
Understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and Standards
Exposure to and experience with outside vendors, and preparing professional bid packages
Ability to understand construction and installation processes
Proficiency to think strategically and tactically about complex issues and problem-solve to resolution
Ability to comfortably communicate in presentation, conversation, and written correspondence, to the project team, Senior Management, consultants, and partners
Demonstrated leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, and collaboration ability
Proven ability to organize and communicate project development process and documentation
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Graphics programs for presentation
Working knowledge and understanding of an integrated design and production process with multiple studios
A four-year undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, production, planning, construction, business, related technical or creative field degrees, or equivalent work experience
Bachelor's Degree in communications or related field
