Job Description

Robert Half is partnering with a leading construction firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support field leadership and project teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage shifting priorities, and enjoys keeping construction projects organized, documented, and on track from an administrative standpoint.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to project managers and field superintendents
  • Track, update, and maintain change orders, job logs, and project status updates in spreadsheets and/or project management systems
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation including permits, inspection records, work authorizations, and job files
  • Attend project meetings, take detailed meeting notes, and distribute action items to relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor project data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards
  • Assist in tracking project budgets, estimates, and cost updates through simple calculations and reporting tools
  • Coordinate communication between field teams, subcontractors, and office staff to ensure alignment on project updates
  • Maintain organized to-do lists and assist with prioritizing urgent field requests
  • Support general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and report generation as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative, project coordination, or construction office support experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
  • Experience with spreadsheets, data tracking, and documentation management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with field teams and adapt quickly to changing project needs

Nice to have

Construction industry experience is a plus but not required
