Job Description

Partnering with a leading name in the Queensland construction market, I am seeking an experienced Project Coordinator for an immediate start on a live, fast-paced construction project based in Ipswich. You will be joining a highly sophisticated, well-established project team. This isn’t a role where you’ll be left to drown—you will report directly to an exceptional, experienced Project Manager who is committed to providing a thorough onboarding process and ongoing structural support.

Job Responsibility

  • Contract Administration & Procurement: Assisting with letting packages, variations, and progress claims
  • Document Control: Managing project registers, drawings, and correspondence to ensure data integrity
  • Stakeholder Management: Acting as a key point of contact for subcontractors, clients, and internal delivery teams
  • Project Delivery Support: Assisting the PM with scheduling, reporting, and driving site-wide project milestones

Requirements

  • Head Contractor Experience: A proven track record working directly for a principal/head contractor within the commercial or civil construction industry is essential
  • Regulated Project Exposure: Previous experience delivering Defence, government, infrastructure, or highly regulated projects will be highly regarded
  • Compliance: Full working rights in Australia and the ability to successfully pass standard background/police checks to secure necessary site access
  • Drive: A proactive attitude with sharp attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • 2 years experience
  • Relevant experience with a head contractor required
