The Project Coordinator supports project managers in the planning, execution, and completion of projects by helping manage schedules, resources, documentation, and communication among team members and stakeholders. This role ensures projects stay organized, on track, and aligned with business goals.
Job Responsibility:
Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes
Track project progress and follow up on action items
Maintain project documentation, reports, and records
Communicate project updates to team members and stakeholders
Monitor deadlines and help ensure milestones are met
Support budget tracking and resource allocation
Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate when needed
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
Ensure compliance with company processes, standards, and policies
Requirements:
Nuclear or power generation experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, or a related field
Proven experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar role
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Jira, or Smartsheet
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
Valid OPG or Bruce Power Clearance
Project management certification or coursework, such as CAPM or PMP
Experience with steam turbines, Generators, and auxiliaries within the nuclear domain
Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Lean, or Scrum
