For our managed services (Factory) team, we are looking for a Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support and coordinate IT infrastructure projects, mainly for banking and financial services clients. The Factory team implements, manages and evolves infrastructure solutions. As Project Manager, you will manage multiple projects in parallel and act as the coordinator between our internal engineering teams, Change Manager, Service Delivery Managers and customers when needed. This role is well suited for someone with a good understanding of IT infrastructure, who enjoys coordination, communication and keeping overview — without requiring a very heavy technical background. The role requires flexibility and ability to adapt to emergency constraints.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and manage multiple IT infrastructure projects and changes simultaneously
  • Follow up on planning, milestones, risks and dependencies
  • Facilitate collaboration between engineers, stakeholders and customers
  • Prepare and lead customer meetings, status updates and steering moments
  • Ensure clear communication, reporting and documentation
  • Support smooth delivery within agreed scope, timing and budget
  • Be part of the RUN & BUILD organisation of the teams and propose improvements to the existing delivery process

Requirements

  • Experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator in an IT or infrastructure-related environment
  • General understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, security, ...)
  • Comfortable managing multiple parallel initiatives
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Clear and professional communication style
  • Fluent in English
  • Willing and able to work at least 2 days per week in Louvain‑la‑Neuve
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Pragmatic and solution‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to prioritise and keep overview
  • Team player with a customer‑focused attitude
  • Reliable, structured and hands‑on

Nice to have

  • Experience in a banking or regulated environment
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, ITIL or PRINCE2
  • Experience working with distributed or multi‑disciplinary teams

What we offer

  • A company car or mobility budget
  • Laptop, phonebudget & phone subscription
  • A competitive salary and indefinite contract
  • Insurance coverage, meal vouchers, eco-cheques, and more
  • Continuous learning opportunities through the Sopra Steria Academy to support your career development
  • Flexible working model with on‑site collaboration in our office in Louvain-La-Neuve
