Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support a dynamic Project Management team. This is a highly administrative and accounting-focused role that will involve managing contracts, tracking invoices, and supporting change orders for construction-related projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills, along with a desire to grow into a Project Manager role over time.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and track subcontracts and vendor agreements (security, rentals, dumpsters, etc.) for projects under $100K
  • Review, analyze, and process project invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with change orders, including documentation, tracking, and updates
  • Maintain and reconcile project financials, budgets, and cost tracking
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Management Team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects stay on track financially and operationally
  • Maintain organized documentation of contracts, invoices, and project activity
  • Assist with onboarding and training alongside interns
  • Work primarily in an office-based environment with limited field exposure

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, accounting, or construction-related roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify discrepancies
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience handling invoices, contracts, and financial tracking
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology preferred
  • Experience with CMiC or similar systems is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
