Robert Half is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support a dynamic Project Management team. This is a highly administrative and accounting-focused role that will involve managing contracts, tracking invoices, and supporting change orders for construction-related projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills, along with a desire to grow into a Project Manager role over time.
Job Responsibility
Manage and track subcontracts and vendor agreements (security, rentals, dumpsters, etc.) for projects under $100K
Review, analyze, and process project invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Assist with change orders, including documentation, tracking, and updates
Maintain and reconcile project financials, budgets, and cost tracking
Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Management Team
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects stay on track financially and operationally
Maintain organized documentation of contracts, invoices, and project activity
Assist with onboarding and training alongside interns
Work primarily in an office-based environment with limited field exposure
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in project coordination, accounting, or construction-related roles
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify discrepancies
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Experience handling invoices, contracts, and financial tracking
Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology preferred
Experience with CMiC or similar systems is a plus
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
Nice to have
