Job Description

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for two (2) Project Coordinator Co-op Students to join our road construction team for Summer 2026 in Niagara Falls. This is a 4-month co-op/internship designed for students who want real-world exposure to construction projects—from the office to the job site.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling, documentation, and reporting
  • Supporting field teams through site visits, quantity tracking, and daily reports
  • Monitoring project progress and helping prepare job cost reports for management
  • Tracking costs, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Coordinating communication between project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Maintaining accurate and well-organized project files and records
  • Liaising with project personnel and conducting on-site visits to clarify scope, timelines, and deadlines
  • Responding to routine project-related inquiries

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a post-secondary program in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • A valid driver’s license and access to your own transportation
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • The ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive mindset—you anticipate needs and take initiative
  • An adaptable approach, comfortable working with diverse teams and personalities
