Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Co-Ordinator – Building Safety to support the delivery of cladding remediation and building safety projects under the Developer Pledge and Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS) frameworks. This role is central to coordinating funding applications, managing key project documentation, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure schemes progress efficiently from application through to delivery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Project Lead with day-to-day management of cladding remediation and building safety projects
  • Prepare, track, and update project documentation including funding applications, risk registers, and programme trackers
  • Maintain accurate financial records, monitor invoices, and reconcile monthly budgets and drawdowns
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and chase outstanding actions across consultants and contractors
  • Collate and verify compliance documentation (O&M manuals, testing certificates, building control documents)
  • Manage stakeholder correspondence, including updates to leaseholders, clients, and contractors
  • Support Project Lead in delivering section 20 works and tender packages
  • Manage and update trackers in relation to major works projects
  • Support procurement and contract administration for consultants and contractors
  • Assist in monitoring project timelines and identifying risks, delays, or dependencies
  • Maintain digital project folders and contribute to the Golden Thread of Information

Requirements:

  • Experience in project coordination, administration, or compliance (essential)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Financial awareness and confidence working with invoices, spreadsheets, and reconciliations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital project management tools
