Job Description:

Airswift is seeking a Project Controls Specialist II (PCS?2) to support cost?focused project controls activities within a regulated nuclear environment on a long?term assignment. This role is the intermediate level within the Project Controls classification structure and is responsible for completing routine project controls tasks with general oversight. The position centers on cost management while supporting minor schedule updates in P6.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, maintain, and track cost workbooks for assigned nuclear projects
  • Provide routine cost status updates to project managers, engineers, and all project stakeholders
  • Apply fundamental project controls principles, tools, and procedures in a structured nuclear environment
  • Conduct cost variance reviews, forecast updates, and cost trend monitoring
  • Support project teams with cost data validation, reporting, and documentation
  • Perform minor Primavera P6 schedule updates as needed in coordination with schedulers
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments, suppliers, vendors, and cross?functional project teams
  • Ensure cost information is accurate, timely, and compliant with company and nuclear regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of project controls experience in cost, scheduling, finance, engineering, or related project environments
  • Working knowledge of project controls principles and project management concepts
  • Ability to use foundational to intermediate functions within scheduling software, cost tools, and spreadsheet applications
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a collaborative team member in a multi?disciplinary project environment

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, project management, engineering, or technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • PMI or AACE certification (PMP, CAPM, PMI?SP, AACE?CCC, AACE?PSP, AACE?CEP, AACE?EVP, or equivalent)
