Job Description

Airswift is seeking a Project Controls Specialist I to support nuclear outage activities for a long-term assignment. This entry-level role focuses on routine aspects of project control assignments under close supervision, with opportunities to develop skills and work with greater independence. The position will assist project teams in planning, scheduling, and cost control functions during outage and maintenance projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform routine project control tasks including cost tracking, scheduling updates, and reporting
  • assist in developing and administering site-specific quality and project control programs
  • support project managers and implementation crews during outage planning and execution
  • review and maintain project documentation, estimates, and schedules using approved tools
  • collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with standards
  • participate in surveillance and audits of contractor quality control programs
  • approve site testing such as electrical, piles/modules, and civil testing under supervision

Requirements

  • Graduation from a two-year college or university in business, finance, project management, engineering, or technical discipline
  • minimum of 2 years of project controls experience in lieu of a degree
  • demonstrated knowledge of basic project controls principles
  • familiarity with project management concepts and computer applications such as scheduling software, financial tools, and spreadsheets
  • strong teamwork and collaboration skills
