We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a Project Controls Lead. This is a long-term contract role.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute project control functions including scheduling, cost control, change management, progress monitoring, risk and issue tracking
  • Maintain effective communication with client project teams
  • Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to consolidate and analyze project cost and schedule data
  • Lead schedule planning and delivery using integrated planning tools
  • Support change order requests and issues and risk management processes
  • Monitor contractor performance and progress in project controls
  • Ensure approved project changes are integrated into schedules and cost baselines
  • Establish and maintain integrated project control system.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering
  • 8 years experience in multiple project functions and assignments, e.g., project management, engineering, construction, procurement, etc. in the Oil & Gas Industry including 1 year experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of contractor/sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.

  • Ensure that the Stewardship process is established and implemented, leading to monthly cost and schedule stewardship reviews
  • Coordinates and communicates priorities for new and ongoing estimating, planning and cost control activities
  • Leads preparation and maintenance of the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), the Original Control Budget (OCB), Current Control Budget (CCB) and Project Master Schedule, and Budget (Planning & Budgeting (P&B) ), and the overall cost and progress control system
