Job Description

We're establishing a new Project Controls Function within our Energy, Resources & Industrial division and seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer to lead this initiative. This is an excellent opportunity to shape the project controls framework for a growing business unit while working on major projects across diverse industrial sectors. As our Project Controls Engineer, you'll be the cost and schedule focal point for major projects, providing critical support to ensure successful delivery within budget and on time. You'll work closely with project teams, developing comprehensive schedules, monitoring performance, and providing accurate forecasts that drive informed decision-making.

Job Responsibility

  • Establishing Work Breakdown Structures
  • Managing project budgets and cost codes
  • Developing master schedules
  • Producing monthly claims and financial reports
  • Maintaining project variations in financial systems
  • Preparing End of Month forecasting reports
  • Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Finance teams

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Business or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a project controller in industrial construction and/or maintenance
  • Strong knowledge in detailed planning and estimating
  • Analytical mindset with solution-focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities
  • Experience with scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project) highly regarded
