Job Description

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator II to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Houston, TX.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop project control Plan
  • Develop project estimate, control budget and WBS structure
  • Track and monitor forecast at completion, incurred cost and budget
  • Provide variance analysis and explanation
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure engagement with the project progress, changes, highlights, and issues
  • Communicate the status and issues with execution and construction team
  • Proactively report cost status and efficiently communicate any risk and mitigation plan
  • Update actual progress, project milestones, and completion dates
  • Implement Earned Value Management
  • Ensure accurate CPI and Earned Value curve are reported
  • Implement change management
  • Initiate PCOs, Trends and AFE revisions
  • Support on the supplemental funding request.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in engineering or construction
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or project controls
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to work with a minimum level of supervision
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in a team environment
  • Computer skills using Oracle, Power BI and Microsoft Office products specifically Excel.
