We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Controls & Cost Engineer to support the successful delivery of projects by managing cost, schedule, and performance. The role involves developing budgets, monitoring project progress, and providing accurate forecasting and reporting to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, monitor, and control project budgets and cost forecasts
Track actual costs against planned budgets and identify variances
Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial summaries
Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
Perform schedule analysis, including critical path and float analysis
Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to track project performance
Support risk management by identifying potential cost and schedule impacts
Evaluate and manage changes, variations, and claims
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
Prepare and present project performance reports to management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in project controls, cost engineering, or planning
Strong knowledge of cost control principles and scheduling techniques
Proficiency in Excel and project control software tools
Familiarity with industry standards and reporting practices
Nice to have:
Experience in large-scale infrastructure or engineering projects
Professional certifications such as: AACE International (e.g., CCP)
Project Management Institute (e.g., PMP)
Experience with contract management and commercial processes
