Shad and his Team at Robert Half are working with a Gas Storage company that is in the start up phase in the Woodlands market place and they are looking for a Project Controls and Compliance Analyst that will support the on-going project finance and construction of their facility. This role will be work very closely with senior leadership, operations, engineering and accounting to make sure to bring forward documentation that work was performed, documented, logged and passed on so that invoice will be paid by the lending institution. This role is very Microsoft Excel intensive and person should bring their Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or General Business, 3 plus year’s experience supporting an large scale project, advanced Microsoft Excel and excellent communication skills. Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or General Business
3 plus year's experience supporting a large scale project
advanced Microsoft Excel
excellent communication skills
Experience in project controls, financial analysis, cost tracking, or a closely related analytical role
Working knowledge of approved invoice processing, financial reconciliation, and supporting documentation review
Familiarity with purchase order management and its connection to project cost monitoring
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify variances or inconsistencies
High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when managing multiple financial records
Proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools used for budgeting, tracking, and financial analysis
Ability to communicate clearly with project teams and business stakeholders in a detail-oriented environment
