The Project Controller plays a key role in improving business performance by analyzing project-related financial data, identifying risks, variances, and deviations, and driving corrective actions to support profitability and forecasting accuracy.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, evaluate, and maintain accurate project forecasts, including cash flow projections
Analyze accruals, actual costs incurred, and work-in-progress calculations
Continuously monitor project performance and financial health
Deliver financial and operational analyses, proactively highlighting potential risks, variances, or deviations to stakeholders including Project Management and the Finance Director
Partner with Project Management to develop, monitor, and validate project budgets while investigating discrepancies between actual and forecasted expenses
Track and manage financial KPIs for each project and recommend corrective actions when necessary
Support and oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Manage monthly cost and revenue provisions, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Ensure effective cost control and alignment between project profitability and company financial objectives
Collaborate with Finance and Project Management teams to ensure invoices are prepared accurately, submitted on time, and collected efficiently
Support invoicing activities, financial terms and conditions, and credit management processes
Review project activities for compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and revenue recognition standards
Proactively identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions as project conditions evolve
Develop and enhance KPIs, reporting standards, tools, and financial procedures
Monitor potential tax implications related to project activities
Translate complex financial data into meaningful operational insights
Recommend and support continuous improvements in business operations and financial processes
Act as a key user in the implementation of the company's new IT landscape
Serve as a strategic liaison between Finance and Project Management
Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and support to internal stakeholders
Prepare and provide information required for internal and external audits
Deliver regular project reporting, including budget status, WIP, cash flow, cost analysis, and revenue tracking
