We are seeking a Project Controller to join the Energy & Resources business in Perth. Supporting a portfolio of sustaining capital and brownfield mining projects, you will play a key role in providing project controls and cost control support across project delivery teams.
Job Responsibility
Supporting Project Managers and Project Controls Leads with project controls and cost control activities
Assisting with project setup including WBS structures, cost codes and project systems
Maintaining project cost data including actuals, commitments, accruals and forecasts
Supporting cost forecasting, reporting and earned value-based performance tracking
Assisting with monthly reporting, dashboards and financial updates
Supporting change control processes, variation tracking and project documentation
Coordinating with project accounting teams on WIP, invoicing and financial reporting activities
Maintaining accurate project records and supporting compliance with project governance requirements
Assisting with project coordination activities including meetings, reporting and action tracking
Providing cost control support to major project teams, including the Kingking Project
Requirements
Approximately 2–5 years experience in a cost control, project controls or project support role
Experience in consultancy, EPCM and/or Client environment, construction, mining, infrastructure, or similar project environments
Exposure to project cost management activities including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and reporting
Understanding of project controls processes including WBS structures, cost coding, forecasting and reporting
Experience using project systems such as Oracle, CMS or similar cost management tools
Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and reporting deadlines
