Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Controller Professional Intern to support the Project Controls team in Peru. This role focuses on assisting in the financial and operational management of engineering and consulting projects, ensuring accurate reporting, cost tracking, and compliance with company standards. The intern will work closely with Project Managers and Project Controllers, contributing to project performance through data analysis, reporting, and administrative support across multidisciplinary projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Support financial monitoring and control of multiple projects, including budgets, costs, and forecasts
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly project performance reports
  • Work with project data including WIP, accounts receivable, and budget tracking
  • Gain exposure to project lifecycle processes in engineering and consulting environments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and Project Managers
  • Support billing processes, invoicing and collections tracking
  • Assist in tracking timesheets and resource allocation for accurate cost distribution
  • Develop analytical dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI
  • Participate in process improvement and basic automation initiatives
  • Contribute to maintaining compliance with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and HSEQ standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (recent graduate) in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
  • Basic knowledge of project financials, budgeting and cost control
  • Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, dashboards)
  • Basic knowledge of Power BI for visualization and reporting
  • Familiarity with ERP or project management systems (BST is a plus)
  • Understanding of project documentation (contracts, invoices, purchase orders)
  • Intermediate English proficiency (desirable)
  • Interest in consulting, engineering, or mining-related project environments
