Job Responsibility

  • Preparation of product costing for customer RFQs on the basis of inputs from functions (development, purchasing, production planner etc.)
  • Validate inputs (BOM, Invests etc.) for costing and discuss within the project team
  • Evaluate commercial KPIs (profit, payback etc.) for customer projects
  • Monitor product and process changes and analyze their commercial impacts on product cost and project profitability
  • Participate in project and functional related meetings and proactively communicate commercially relevant topics affecting project profitability
  • Support monitoring and analysis of product costs for series business
  • Ensure accurate Business Plans for future prospects
  • Support, drive and evaluate cost saving initiatives

Requirements

  • Coordination of the plan and cost calculation with all functional areas in the customer team, the business division functions, and in the plants
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience particularly in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive industry
  • Good understanding of controlling processes
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of the relevant product and process technologies and their commercial factors
  • Ability to convince key managerial personnel with logical explanation
  • Work under pressure and complex situations without compromising the quality of the work
