The Project Control Analyst supports and interacts with other colleagues within Bentley’s Advancements Teams, in relation to project data. This support is also extended to Sales colleagues, Directors, and Executives in some cases.
Job Responsibility:
Reviews, releases, and administers project data to ensure accuracy, reliability, and authenticity
Participate in monthly project review meetings/Practice calls/Project Manager Calls
Create and track purchase requests for subcontractors as well as material Purchase Request’s
Coordinate financials for every PS engagement working with PM to ensure accuracy
Responsible for processing revenue recognition monthly which includes accruals, deferrals, and loss accruals
Working closely with finance colleagues at month end, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
Monthly project reporting for PS colleagues
Perform project audits
Time Management – Review time entries and approvals
Audit travel requests and expenses prior to final approval
Participate in system testing for enhancements and upgrades
Review proposals with knowledge and understanding of legal requirements
Collaborate with our legal and collection team members
Generate invoice drafts in Projector (project management system) then generate final invoice in SAP R3 (system of record)
Initiate credit and legal approval for all assigned projects
Monitor and review quote accepted activities in assigned queue ensuring all documentation is attached and accurate
Day to day communication and interaction with supported PS colleagues
Interacts with internal colleagues and external users to resolve issues, provide training on processes, and provide analysis and feedback
Processes and updates internal interactive sites
Ensure all engagement documentation is posted to eBPR, PS project repository
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent working experience
2+ Years Administration experience in project administration and/or finance
Knowledge and demonstrable experience with principles and processes related to project data capture and processing
Knowledge and/or experience in revenue recognition
Excellent English language skills (written and verbal)
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Experience in managing small projects
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required
Should be familiar with other Microsoft programs including PowerPoint and Access
Must be a self-starter and ability to work well under pressure
