Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Project Control Analyst - Entry Level (Recent Graduate) to support the Project Development team in Alice Springs, NT – Australia. This role is a developing member of the Project Delivery organization within Amentum's Project Controls team, serving as the primary interface to the Project & Construction organization. It provides foundational experience in project controls, offering hands-on learning from proposal development through project execution and closeout, setting the stage for future career growth.
Job Responsibility
Develop and maintain project schedules and cost estimates/pricing, applying project management principles to manage timelines and budgets, while gaining practical experience in real-world project execution
Monitor and track direct labor, material, subcontract, and indirect costs, ensuring accurate cost management and developing the skills to analyze and control project expenses effectively
Support performance measurement and project reporting, actively participating in generating key metrics and gaining a deep understanding of project performance management
Assist with estimate-to-complete (ETC) forecasting, utilizing quantities, vendor data, and historical information to build forecasting skills and apply them to project budgets
Provide monthly status updates using integrated cost and scheduling software, learning industry-standard tools while actively reporting on project progress
Prepare change requests and cost/schedule trend reports, developing the ability to manage project changes while executing reports for stakeholders
Review purchase requisitions and invoices for proper cost coding and budget alignment, ensuring accuracy while gaining insight into project financial management
Provide scheduling support to facility, department, or project activities
Prepare and distribute project status reports to internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to communication efforts while learning to tailor reports to different audiences
Adapt to shifting priorities and take on additional duties as assigned, managing changing tasks and deadlines while developing flexibility in a fast-paced work environment

Applicants must have graduated in 2024 or later or be graduating in 2026
At least 18 years of age
Able to fluently read, write and speak English

Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities with attention to detail
Must be able to work extended hours, often with short notice, to meet deadlines
Travel may be required, up to 5%
Minimum Active U.S. Secret or Australian Negative Vetting (NV1) equivalent Department of Defense Security Clearance and ability to maintain that clearance
