Job Description:

Templer Homebuild has an exciting opportunity for a Project Assistant to join its dedicated Commercial team in Newton Abbot. This role would suit an analytical and inquisitive person who thrives within an environment that is focused on delivering the best value for money possible. The role of the Project Administrator is to coordinate and organise project/task activities to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Co ordinate and organise project/task activities to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Organise and maintain project/task documentation
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication among team members and stakeholders
  • Track project/task timelines and proactively address issues
  • Act as the primary contact for project/task related communications
  • Assist in optimising resource to meet project/task requirements
  • Generate insightful reports on project/task progress and performance
  • Uphold quality standards by conducting regular checks on project/task deliverables, ensuring alignment with internal procedures and best practice

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working successfully within a financial/commercial or analytical environment
  • Excellent IT skills to include MS office suite and specifically Excel
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Excellent communication and rapport building aptitude
  • Organisation, planning and time management
  • Effective and confident communication
  • Proactive problem solving
  • Deadline focussed
