Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in Maspeth, New York, this role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to the successful execution of engineering and construction projects. The position offers an excellent opportunity to support project coordination and scheduling while ensuring timely completion of key objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate project timelines and ensure all tasks are aligned with scheduled deadlines
  • Support construction project teams by organizing plans, resources, and documentation
  • Maintain and update master schedules to track project progress and milestones
  • Perform scanning and digitization of project documents for accurate record-keeping
  • Assist in managing project workflows and resolving issues to keep projects on track
  • Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Monitor project budgets and report any discrepancies
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, presentations, and reporting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing timelines and schedules for projects
  • Familiarity with construction project workflows and processes
  • Strong knowledge of master scheduling tools and techniques
  • Proficiency in scanning and organizing project documentation
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in project management
