Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Project Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Batavia, New York. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy staying active throughout the workday. As a Project Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting various activities and ensuring smooth operations during events.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in the coordination of event stations, including medal distribution, water stops, and check-in areas
Ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and in alignment with event schedules
Maintain active communication with team members to address any logistical challenges
Monitor timelines and adjust plans as necessary to meet project deadlines
Support construction-related projects by managing relevant documentation and schedules
Handle scanning and organization of project-related materials
Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain master scheduling for ongoing projects
Actively participate in event setup, execution, and teardown as needed

Requirements:

Ability to work in a physically active role, including standing and moving for extended periods
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience in managing timelines and coordinating project activities
Familiarity with construction projects and related processes
Proficiency in scanning and document management
Effective communication skills for working with teams and stakeholders
Prior experience in project management is preferred
