Join our team as a Project Assistant on a contract basis, supporting warehouse operations during a high-volume inventory project in Waterbury, Connecticut. Job Responsibility:
Assist the Warehouse Manager in organizing and executing inventory counts to maintain accuracy and quality control
De-palletize and re-palletize products to optimize inventory processes
Follow project timelines and schedules to help meet operational goals
Support general warehouse operations, stock management, and efficient workflow
Collaborate with team members for effective inventory handling during peak periods
Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies
Adhere to safety standards while performing warehouse duties
Participate in warehouse organization to improve space utilization and efficiency
Assist with scheduling and tracking inventory activities
Perform other warehouse-related tasks as required to support the project
Requirements:
Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory roles preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, palletizing, and moving materials
Effective communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage timelines effectively
Experience or familiarity with warehouse environments is preferred
Capability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving products
Basic knowledge of inventory practices and warehouse operations
