HBA Madrid is growing! We are looking for a dynamic Project Architect to join our Madrid Boutique Studio. You would be joining a team of creative designers with valuable experience who are progressive and passionate about growing our presence in Spain & beyond. As a Project Architect with experience in Interior Architecture, you will coordinate the design and technical development of hospitality and high-end projects from concept through construction ensuring design excellence, and take ownership of key workstreams and deliverables across multiple phases.
Job Responsibility:
Work closely with internal teams to align goals, delegate effectively, and maintain a cohesive, high-performing project approach
Anticipate design/coordination risks early and propose strategic, design-driven solutions with options and implications
Assist with the planning and management of design deliverables, timelines, and documentation across project phases (including wellness/spa and, where applicable, cruise hospitality packages)
Lead or actively steer coordination meetings securing alignment, timely decisions, and clear documentation of actions with other consultants
Review and incorporate consultant input into design documentation maintaining accuracy, clarity, and design intent
Champion design reviews and visualization quality, ensuring outputs meet or exceed expectations prior to external issue
Translate design ideas into exemplary drawings, diagrams, and 3D models using Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, or SketchUp (and professional visualization tools)
Direct the preparation of high-caliber presentations, design narratives, and visual materials that communicate intent with clarity and impact
Drive focused design research on materials, typologies, and precedents elevating materiality, proportion, and detail as quality drivers
Requirements:
The right to work in Madrid without visa sponsorship (Spanish PR / EU citizen)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
Master/Training in Interior Design
6 - 8 years of experience in architecture and interior design projects
Experience in high-end hospitality and residential projects
Excellent skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rhinoceros, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suites
Proficiency in Revit will be an added advantage
Fluent in Spanish & English
