Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Development of project design, research and implement building codes, and produce construction documentation
Coordination with the project team (engineers et al.) to develop construction documents that accurately reflect the design intent
Attending meetings with the project team, consultants, and client to discuss and develop the design
Participation in construction administration by making site visits and addressing technical issues with guidance from the project team
Coordination with engineering, consultants, clients, contractors, and building officials to meet overall project objectives

Requirements:

Professional degree
5-8 years of experience in mixed use, hospitality, and/or multi-family is preferred, but not required
Registered Architect
Knowledge of building materials, specifications and construction techniques
Sufficient experience coordinating with engineering disciplines
Experience in dealing with governmental agencies and building/zoning codes
Revit and SketchUp proficiency
