Job Description:

We are currently seeking proactive, collaborative, talented, and passionate architects to join our team. Therefore, the ideal candidate will share this passion for design solutions while having the ability to communicate in a smart, insightful, and synthesized manner.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute bid documentation: project design and documentation during all phases of assigned projects
  • Effectively collaborate with both internal team members and outside consultants while managing client requests
  • Prepare project presentations: 2D and 3D visualizations for client reviews and approvals
  • Attend client presentations, interviews, and meetings with the client, and prepare meeting minutes on attended meetings
  • Integrate code requirements into designs, and coordinate with engineers and various consultants on project details
  • Work directly with Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge to maintain communication on the development and details of the project
  • Provide support to Construction Administrator by answering RFI’s and reviewing Shop Drawings

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience running small and large scale public and private projects
  • Ability to delegate tasks and act as a job captain
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and can prioritize deadlines
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural assemblies, mechanical, electrical and plumbing components and systems
  • Highly proficient in Revit
  • Knowledgeable in local zoning, code, and ADA compliances
  • Strong communicator
  • Strong visualization skills and familiar with Adobe Creative Suite programs
  • Well versed in sustainable practices
  • B-Arch or M-Arch from an accredited degree program, or fulfilling NCARB alternative education requirements in order to pursue licensure, or a licensed architect
