Job Description:

As a Project Architect at BVH, you’re part of an agile team that lets you flex your skillset and learn from others. Our teams wear lots of hats. We get to work closely with our clients, creating lasting relationships and projects that serve communities for years to come.

Job Responsibility:

Work under the guidance of a senior architect or project manager
Plan, design, document, and coordinate large projects
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff
Attend project meetings and produce meeting notes
Construction administration duties

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years experience in a firm
Accredited professional degree in Architecture
A registered architect in at least one state
Experience managing a production team
Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, and 3D modeling software (Enscape, Sketchup, etc.)
Experience producing quality design and construction documents
Has the ability to coordinate design and documents with clients and consultants
Possesses superior communication skills
Has the ability to meet deadlines
Can attend project meetings and produce meeting notes
Has experience with construction administration duties

Nice to have:

Sustainability qualifications (LEED and/or WELL)
Specification writing experience (SpecLink a plus)
