Job Description:

The Project Analyst 1 is a beginner/Intermediate professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain and identify enhancements to existing applications and their operating environments
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and users to gather requirements and coordinate with development team for implementation
  • Provide day-to-day functional support and troubleshooting root causes of issues for applications in SADU
  • Take ownership of issues and work with business users and development team to find resolutions
  • Maintain and modify configuration
  • Analyze existing system logic and use evaluative judgment to make recommendations and implement enhancements or fixes
  • Formulate and define scope and objectives for changes through research and fact-finding
  • Gather data needed to create and complete project plans
  • Collect project performance data to help track project issues and track resolutions
  • Keep track of progress on project deliverables
  • Ensure project documents are updated as necessary
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years relevant experience P2P or Data warehousing applications
  • Good exposure to data archival and disposal activities
  • Worked in at least 2 data migration and disposal programs
  • Effective communicator
  • Participation in some process improvements
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge in banking applications and server infrastructure
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, great teammate
