This is an ideal opportunity for a recent agriculture or environmental science graduate to gain office experience coordinating large-scale sustainability projects. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Project Manager by collaborating with stakeholders, hosting meetings, and attending events.
Job Responsibility:
Collecting and compiling project-related administrative, financial, or technical information from multiple sources
Tracking information to ensure projects are meeting deadlines
Writing progress reports for internal and external audiences
Coordinating meetings and supporting committee functions
Attending trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Requirements:
A related post-secondary degree (agriculture, natural resources, or environmental science) is required
A passion for environmental sustainability
An ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
An ability to work with a larger team to meet objectives and deadlines
Excellent time management skills and in ability to work in a project-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented
Proficiency with MS Office
A valid driver’s license is required as there will be occasional travel throughout the province
