Job Description

Construction is a fast-moving, project-based environment — where organization, timing, and cost tracking are critical to keeping everything on schedule. A construction company in North County San Diego is hiring a Project Accounting Assistant to support financial and administrative functions across active projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work but also wants visibility into how projects come together from start to finish. This position supports both the accounting team and project managers, helping keep financial records accurate and projects running smoothly. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with job costing and project expense tracking
  • Support invoicing, billing, and accounts payable processes
  • Maintain project financial records and documentation
  • Help track budgets and monitor project costs
  • Coordinate with project managers and vendors
  • Support contract documentation and filing
  • Assist with reporting and administrative tasks

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of accounting, admin, or construction-related experience
