Project Accountant

• Oversee project-related accounting tasks, including tracking budgets, expenses, and financial performance
• Prepare and review journal entries, trial balances, and financial reports to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes related to assigned projects
• Utilize tools such as Deltek Vision and Workday to streamline accounting workflows and reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies in all financial activities
• Conduct variance analysis and reconcile discrepancies in project budgets
• Support construction accounting efforts, including cost tracking and resource allocation
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes for assigned projects
• Provide guidance and recommendations for improving financial processes and systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience, preferably in project or construction accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Deltek Vision or Workday
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and solve complex problems
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
