Job Responsibility:
Prepare accurate financial statements, gross profit reports, and cost of sales analyses
Manage customer earnest money deposits and oversee sales budgets for individual projects
Handle month-end close processes, including preparing quarterly work papers and reconciling accounts
Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and maintain correspondence with investors
Track work-in-progress (WIP) and job costs to support construction accounting processes
Perform budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning
Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, to analyze large datasets
Maintain the general ledger and process journal entries with precision
Collaborate with the Controller on special projects and ensure timely completion
Monitor and improve accounting workflows for enhanced operational efficiency
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate finance or project accounting
Proficiency in construction accounting and work-in-progress tracking
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
Familiarity with general ledger management and journal entry preparation
Ability to manage multiple reporting tasks and meet deadlines
Flexibility to take on special projects and adapt to changing priorities
