Our growing New York City-based firm is seeking an experienced Project Accountant / Billing Specialist to help drive financial operations and support our dynamic client work.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage project billing cycles, including invoice preparation, review, and processing
  • Monitor and track project budgets, expenditures, and client payments
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate project accounting and reporting
  • Maintain timely and accurate financial records related to projects and contracts
  • Assist with accounts receivable, collections, and client communication
  • Support month-end close and financial reporting, focusing on project profitability

Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting, billing, or project finance experience
  • Prior experience in the architecture, engineering, or design industry

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
