We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Accountant Assistant to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential project accounting functions and support administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude, ensuring the smooth handling of financial data and processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain and update financial records
  • Verify and audit invoices for completeness and compliance
  • Utilize Deltek to manage accounting tasks and generate reports
  • Assist in creating tables and running financial reports as needed
  • Conduct audits on accounts payable invoices to ensure accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with the team to support administrative operations
  • Maintain organized documentation and ensure timely processing of financial data
  • Adapt to occasional overtime demands and prioritize workload effectively

Requirements

  • Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
  • Experience using Deltek for accounting tasks and reporting
  • Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel for creating tables and analyzing data
